if there's something that i detest doing at home it's doing the repairs that usually the man of the house does. leaking faucets, dripping bidette, putting together broken things, etc. but since i don't have a choice i have to learn the ropes somehow. just this weekend i was able to repair the bidette. you just don't know how elated i was because this is connected to the water going to the toilet tank. and we had to bear a few weeks using the timba to flush the toilet.
i used to find it boring going around hardware stores. until recently, when i had to fix up some things at home that i am able to appreciate their presence. i can't say i am good at maintaining things at home. but it sure helps to have a husband who is very patient in explaining to me online how to do things. hehehe. i guess it takes a lot of experience and a spark of interest in these activities to be able to efficiently and effectively repair things.
i am just crossing my fingers that no major destructions will happen while hubby is away. otherwise, i have to call a real carpenter/ tubero next time. sigh.
